It’s officially been one year of covid / quarantine!
I personally can’t believe it’s been over 12 months of being stuck at home most of the time!! It’s felt so long and I’m both excited and dreading to have to go back to in-person school and socialize (what is this again).
Fortunately, March was a less stressful month than the last, and it’s finally April (my birthday month!). So today, I’m going to be talking about how my March went, except it’s already April and I already forgot most of the things that happened last month! :DD

I read 10 books this month (though I wanted to read a little more)! This really is my year of reading all the latest releases π I also started some new webcomics (and binged most of them).
Overall, I had a great reading month. I found some new favorites, and I’m hoping to read some middle grade novels next month!
book haul

Thank you so much to the publishers for sending me these ARCs!! I’m still in disbelief that I was lucky enough to receive three of my most anticipated releases in advance, and I’ve already read all of them because I simply could not wait, and they really are as good as they sound.

- I posted significantly more this month, and I am so proud of it!! And for once, I actually enjoyed writing them!
- And I just realized that I’ve been blogging for nine months already (if you count the first three months where I barely posted anything at all)?! It’s been so long already, I can’t believe it! expect a one-year blogiversary post in,, three months lmao

School wasn’t as stressful, but I’m now in the last quarter (about 35 school days left) of the school year! By this point, I’m just excited for school to end and for summer to start!!
I had spring break, which sadly lasted for only a week (but then again, summer break is three months… it’s worth it). I was also very productive, read a lot, and felt relaxed for the first time in a while.
I started Haikyuu!!, which is very cute and funny so far and gave me so much serotonin π₯Ί I can’t wait to continue it! Not surprisingly, I listened to a lot of LOOΞ Ξ (Heart Attack and love4eva were on repeat) and RosΓ©’s solos (they finally released and I love them!).

how was your March? what are you looking forward to in April?? what were some of the best books you read last month?

i’m so happy that school wasn’t stressful for you! omg I am super excited to read the infinity courts because 1)THE COVER, 2)THE SYNOPSIS and 3)Akemi dawn bowman is one of my favs! thank you for including my post π₯Ίπ

katie!! omg 10 books is so amazing!! i cannot believe it’s already been a year of quarantine, and i just can’t wait for covid to be over, because there are so many milestones we missed celebrating because of it, and it’s just getting annoying at this point haha!! i have found SO much comfort in webtoons and webcomics it’s not even funny omg they are THE reason for my daily boosts of serotonin π₯ΊππΌππΌ!! fifteen hundred miles from the sun sounds so?? good?? and i have ARCs of cool for the summer and in deeper waters as well, so i’m sorry those two weren’t particularly memorable
lost in the never woods kinda let me down too and i was bored for the first half of the book, so im glad i’m not alone there!! π
ahhh the infinity courts was SO good, and i loved every second of it!! i rated it 4.5 stars too, and the ending had me REELING haha!! made in korea sounds like everything i could ever need in life, so im very happy that it didn’t let you down!! congratulations on getting so many amazing ARCs btw, they all sound really good, and look super gorgeous as well!! i loved all the posts you linked to as well omg!! ahh yessss – in a little more than a month, summer break starts for me too, and i cannot wait. (though im not looking forward to the summer weather, because it’s only april, but already hitting 42 degrees celsius, or 107 degrees fahrenheit) and i am BOILING π©
i loved this post so much!! i hope april is treating you well π

Ah I agree with you about Lost in the Neverwoods, I also read it at the end of march/beginning of april and I was disappointed as well π¦ I loved Cemetery Boys and this one sounded super good as well but just…nope.
Anyways, looks like you had an awesome March! Yeah, it’s been a year of quarantine, it’s crazy. Everything went so…fast??? What????
I’m so jealous that you got She Who Became the Sun, it’s one of my most anticipated releases of the year! (granted, I didn’t actually, ya know, try to get it in any way so maybe I don’t have a right to be jealous…but still….)

It seems like you had a great month, with all the readings and feeling more relaxed in general. I can’t believe it’s been a year of covid either, it’s really weird thinking of the stuff we do pre-covid…
